Thunderbird to Visit more than 65 Countries
The Thunderbird campus is buzzing with students who are gearing up for the start of the fall trimester on September 4th. The new students, who represent 36 countries, will quickly become "citizens of the world" as they work alongside each other and learn the value of understanding each other's differences. As alumni, you know that better than anyone.
Our alumni office gets updates every day that show the global impact of who you are. The difference you make can be seen in the positions you hold, the companies you have started, and the ways you give back.
Thunderbird strives to continue this legacy of excellence by recruiting diverse and talented students from around the world. One way that is evidenced is through Thunderbird's upcoming recruiting effort - which includes a worldwide tour to more than 65 countries.
"The mission of Thunderbird to educate global leaders who create sustainable prosperity worldwide drives us to seek out the most qualified candidates from all over the world," said Steve Taylor, Assistant Vice President of Global Recruitment. "Thunderbirds come from, and work in, all corners of the world, and so we'll be sending representatives to four continents to help us find the next generation of global leaders."
The Thunderbird recruiting team is dedicated to bringing the best in the world to the Thunderbird campus, but the passion of an alumnus is the greatest recruitment tool of all. Some of you came to Thunderbird because the person next you on the airplane bragged about this amazing school they went to called Thunderbird. For others, it was because you knew there was a well-respected Thunderbird in your company and it proved to you that Thunderbird was ranked #1 for a reason.
"Prospective students are always happy to meet a member of the recruitment team, but the impact of having a global leader, a graduate of Thunderbird, attend an event and talk to prospective students cannot be underestimated," said Taylor. "Prospective students see in our alumni a future version of themselves - an aspirational self that understands the complex relationships between global business, politics, and cross-cultural communication. Alumni show prospective students how to have an impact on the world, and as such, we are always delighted and honored by the privilege to be joined by our alumni at a recruiting event."
We would love for you to invite a potential student to one of our upcoming events. You can see the full recruiting calendar here.
