hosts its second annual Global
Family Enterprise (GFE) Program: Family Values – Global
Reach, geared to domestic and international entrepreneurs and family
business owners.
Held at the luxurious Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona,
on February 25 - 28, 2008, attendees will learn to effectively manage
growth, plan for succession and establish successful governance
strategies that ensure continuity between generations of family
leaders.
Learn from Thunderbird global thought leaders who frame the discussions
and from peer CEOs from around the world as you participate in live

Alumni Chapter Happenings
Austin,
Texas - August 2007
Austin T-birds celebrated the end of summer with a sunset cruise
on beautiful Lake Austin. Local alumni enjoyed a brilliant sunset
aboard the famous Lake Austin “Sunshine Machine”. A
special thanks goes to the Committee Organizers - Phaedra Cucina
, Holly Edger, Greg Fitzgerald, Julie King, Lance McInnes, Bea Reilley,
Alison Roberts, and Chapter Leader Spencer Kendall.
Austin is becoming home to more and more T-birds as local companies
like Dell Computer support the city’s growth and its excellent
business environment. Austin, also known as the Silicon Hills, is
a major high tech hub which attracts a large international community.
It you are ever in Austin, please join your Central Texas T-birds
for a T-bird Tuesday.
Join a Chapter
Are you a member of your local alumni chapter? Do you know that
you can be a member of multiple alumni chapters?
Thunderbird Alumni Chapters are a great way to keep up-to-date
with the school and the local area served by the chapter. To join
a chapter, log-in to My Thunderbird (MTB), click on the “Chapters”
tab at the top of the page, click on the chapter that you are interested
in, and then click on the “Join” link in the upper right-hand
corner of the page. If there is a link that says “Opt-Out”
you are already a member of that chapter and do not need to join.
You can join as many chapters as you like. You will receive email
communications from your chapters that will help you stay informed
about local, national, and international T-bird events. We hope
you will take advantage of this T-bird connection.
If you need help logging-in to My Thunderbird, please contact the
Alumni Relations Office at alumni@thunderbird.edu,
