President Cabrera Chairs International UN Task
Force to Develop Universal Business Code of Ethics for Business
Schools
Dr. Cabrera will join
an academic delegation to present the Principles for Responsible
Management Education before United Nations Secretary-General Ban
Ki-moon on July 5, 2007. As a senior advisor to the United Nations
Global Compact, Cabrera chaired the international task force that
developed the Principles - the first global guiding framework for
academic institutions to advance the broader cause of corporate

U.S. Trust CEO, Thunderbird Alumna Joins Board of Trustees
One of the highest ranking female executives in
the financial services
industry, Frances Aldrich Sevilla-Sacasa
’78, has joined the Thunderbird
Board of Trustees for a two-year term. She is currently president
and chief executive officer of U.S. Trust, which will soon be acquired
by Bank of America. Upon completion of the acquisition anticipated
in early July 2007, Aldrich Sevilla-Sacasa will become head of U.S.
Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.
“I am very pleased to have Frances join Thunderbird’s
Board,” said Thunderbird President Ángel Cabrera. “She
brings to our governing body a wealth of management experience,
valuable global perspective and an understanding of global financial
markets. As an alumna of the school, she also brings a passion and
understanding of Thunderbird and its mission.”

Alumni Chapter Happenings
Thunderbird President and BOT Chair in Denver, Colorado
On
Wednesday, June 20, 2007, Thunderbird President Ángel Cabrera
addressed 40 Thunderbird alumni and spouses at a dinner event in
Denver, Colorado. David Roberts ’73, Chairman of the Thunderbird
Board of Directors, and Jon Meyers, Associate Vice President of
Alumni Relations, also spoke at the event. Key topics discussed
by the three School representatives included Thunderbird’s
continued excellent rankings, new partner programs, the improving
financial state of the School, and increased alumni engagement.
Thunderbird would like to thank Julianne O’Dwyer ’99,
Co-Chapter leader of Denver, CO, for organizing the successful event.

Historic Yearbooks Available on a Limited Basis
The Thunderbird Archives has a limited number of extra yearbooks
from the years 1962-1998. These collector’s items are now
available to alumni for only $10 (U.S. postage and handling included).

with the year and the term (spring, summer, fall) of the book that
you are seeking. If your book is available, Thunderbird Archives
will reserve the book for you while payment and mailing information
are obtained. This offer good while supplies last!
