Why Thunderbird?

“I was attracted to Thunderbird for the global aspect it offers both in class and professionally. I’ve been on many multi-cultural teams while working internationally in landscape architecture and urban design, and I have a strong desire to continue to work in that capacity. I knew Thunderbird could deliver this both within the classroom and through the global network you join when you become a T-bird. My professional aspiration is to create sustainable resort developments that boost local economies and have minimal environmental impacts. I am confident that while at Thunderbird, I will be able to merge my landscape architecture background with the global business management knowledge needed to be a successful resort project manager.”

What does Thunderbird offer that other schools do not?

“Thunderbird delivers an international experience that other schools cannot duplicate. The opportunities to study business abroad are outstanding. I will be going to Africa and Czech Republic this summer alone! Plus, my classmates are from all over the world and bring interesting perspectives to class discussions. On a daily basis we are all constantly learning from each other’s varying business and cultural backgrounds. There is never a dull moment in class or during social outings.”
