Moderator Profiles

Josh Allen is the Enrollment Counselor for Thunderbird's Global MBA On-Demand program. After graduating with a BA in International Studies from Brigham Young University, Josh managed day-to-day operations at a small call center for three years before coming to Thunderbird. In his current position, he assists applicants and answers questions regarding Thunderbird's Distance Learning programs. Josh loves anything "Asian:" food, culture, architecture, and the wonderful people. He is currently enrolled in the Global MBA On-Demand program.

Joseph Babcock is the Director of EMBA programs at Thunderbird. He is responsible for business development activities as they pertain to recruiting the EMBA classes.  Since graduating with his MBA from Thunderbird in 1990, he has spent the past 17 years active in global business. Babcock lived in Europe for eight years and subsequently traveled the world managing global sales and business development networks in over 50 countries with China on the top of the list.

Eva Bautista is the Enrollment Counselor for Thunderbird’s Global MBA for Latin American Managers program. In her current position, she assists applicants and answers program and admission questions for the Global MBA for Latin American Managers program at the different program sites. Current campus sites include Mexico (7 sites); Miami, USA; El Salvador; Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru and Bolivia.

Patricia Breceda is Associate Director of the Global MBA for Latin American Managers at Thunderbird. Ms. Breceda holds a BA in Management from the University of Phoenix and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Western International University. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She has been part of the Global MBA Latin America team for 5 years and states that, "It has been a real pleasure for me to be part of a great group of people that form the Global MBA for Latin American Managers program. The experience and the friendships that form within the student body makes us a unique and dynamic group that can not be duplicated. Our students are a truly global community without borders."

Jay Bryant is a 2004 graduate of Thunderbird and currently serves as Senior Director Admissions and Student Recruitment. He holds two liberal arts degrees and attained his lifetime teaching certificate from The University of Texas- Austin. After a half decade of teaching Spanish literature in Texas, Jay began his studies at Thunderbird and has since done extensive recruiting in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Judy Johnson is Thunderbird's Dean of Admissions. She has dedicated her professional life to MBA admissions and has worked at several of the highest ranked institutions. She will be available to answer all of your admissions questions candidly.

Clark Morris is a 2005 graduate of Thunderbird and currently serves as a Global Admissions Officer at the school. Clark holds a BBA from the University of Georgia where he studied information systems. Before coming to Thunderbird, Clark spent two years working in the IT industry, and is currently leading the admission team's IT initiatives. Clark’s international experience includes extensive stints studying and traveling in Mexico, Central America and Europe.

Joe Patterson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a BA in English. Joe previously spent more than 10 years working in the pharmaceutical/healthcare and financial services industries specializing in call center operations. While working for Thunderbird, Joe has been on recruiting trips to eight different countries, taking him such places as India and Russia. He is currently enrolled in the Global MBA On-Demand program.

Claire Romera is in her last trimester at Thunderbird.  She studied anthropology and Spanish at Smith College and went on to be a Fulbright Scholar in Spain where she did research on how women-owned business cooperatives empowered the women that started them.  After working in a variety of roles in three different small businesses she returned to Thunderbird to get her MBA.  She will work at American Express in Phoenix after graduation.

Pamela Zapf is an accelerated student in her second trimester at Thunderbird.  She received her bachelors of science in Business Management from Binghamton University.  Upon graduation she took a job at JPMorgan Chase in New York City.  After three years of work experience she decided to return to school at Thunderbird to get her MBA.  She will be returning to New York this summer for a finance internship at Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation.
