Dale Davison, Ph.D.
Dr. Davison joined Thunderbird in 1990 as a clinical professor of accounting after serving as a partner in Deloitte & Touche for 10 years.
As Dean of Faculty at Thunderbird School of Global Management, Dr. Davison oversees faculty recruitment, hiring, contracts, performance, and development. Prior to being appointed Dean in June of 2008, he served as Interim Dean, and prior to that was Academic Director of the executive education degree programs, including the Executive MBA - Arizona and Europe programs. Dr. Davison joined Thunderbird in 1990 as a clinical professor of accounting after serving as a partner in Deloitte & Touche for 10 years.
One of Dr. Davison’s goals is to help develop and serve a world-class multidisciplinary faculty that serve Thunderbird’s needs in degree programs, corporate learning services and executive education, and in research and service.
Dr. Davison has won a number of teaching awards during his career, including awards at the University of South Carolina, Arizona State University and at Deloitte. He won outstanding teaching awards at Thunderbird in 1994, 1996, 2001, 2005, and again in August 2007.
