Andrew Stringer is a human resources professional with more than 20 years of experience. At Thunderbird School of Global Management, he provides strategic human resources leadership at the main campus in Arizona and at satellite locations in Russia and Switzerland. Specifically, he oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, staff training, compensation and benefits, legal compliance, and performance management.
Andrew started his career in the United Kingdom, working in the hotel industry in a variety of positions and locations. After 10 years he took a human resource management position at Utell International, a global hospitality technology company based near London. A 1997 merger with Phoenix-based Anasazi brought Andrew to Arizona for what he thought would be a 12-month project with the resultant company, REZsolutions. Instead, Andrew remained in the United States with REZsolutions and later Pegasus Solutions, following its acquisition of REZsolutions in 2000. He became head of the company’s Human Resources division in 2004. In this capacity he oversaw a global human resources team and was responsible for all aspects of human resources strategy.
Andrew earned a National Diploma in Hotel, Catering & Institutional Operations from Farnborough College of Technology in the United Kingdom, and he has been a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources since 2003. He lives in Cave Creek, Arizona, with his wife and two daughters.
