
Office support is available during business hours to all tenant companies to greet and announce visitors, maintain daytime security and receive packages.
A wide variety of office equipment is available for tenants to use including:
TGEI is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Guests can be received during office hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Offices are equipped with a telephone with its own extension. (A calling card is required for long distance calls.)
All your document processing needs (i.e., binding, color copies, laminating) are available for a nominal fee. Please check with the Xerox Document Source for current rates (602-978-7654 or xerox@t-bird.edu).
Each office is Internet enabled. You can access the Internet via an Ethernet connection or through a wireless connection.
24-hour campus security is provided to all tenants. Each tenant will be provided with an office key. Building doors are locked at 6:00 p.m. To access the Center during non-office hours, please call Thunderbird Security at 602-978-7223. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Misuse of keys, such as sharing or giving keys to non-employees, is a violation of security and may result in revocation of access privileges.
Parking is available to all employees and visitors of tenant companies. Tenants should obtain a parking sticker from Thunderbird Security and may park in any uncovered parking space.
Upkeep of the TGEI's facility is provided by Thunderbird.
TGEI housekeeping personnel clean tenant suites after 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. They perform the following services: clean restrooms, empty trash, and remove visible litter. Carpeting is vacuumed and furniture dusted once a week.
Tenant companies with specific business issues can utilize Thunderbird's network of consultants and resources. The TGEI Professional Staff is available in the areas of business planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies, attracting investment capital and protecting proprietary rights.

The primary purpose of the Student Assistant Liaison program is to provide tenants with an assistant to help with business-related tasks. A secondary purpose of this program is to allow graduate business level students the opportunity to work in a real-world environment of business enterprise.
TGEI will assist the tenant in locating a student assistant. The students can provide up to 20 hours per week on a flex-time basis, which would take into consideration the company's needs as well as the student's curriculum requirements. The tenant will be expected to pay the student at the current campus rate plus employer taxes. Some students may be work-study eligible.
Each company will be asked to provide feedback to TGEI as to the quality of the student's work in order to keep up with the effectiveness of this program.
