Expand your global horizons with a module abroad. Study core courses for six weeks at a partner institution overseas and broaden your global and cultural awareness in the process.


Modules Abroad

These are required core courses taught during your second trimester of the full-time MBA program. They may be taught by Thunderbird faculty face-to-face or online or by faculty from the partner institution, but always in English. From year to year the overseas sites vary. Locations for recent modules abroad are the Czech Management Center in the Czech Republic,, Peking University in Beijing, China, San Isidro, Lima, Peru.

Students are selected for overseas modules by a competitive application process as the spaces at each location are limited.

New partnerships are continuously under development in all regions of the world. The experience includes intensive study paired with company visits and cultural events for a truly global experience.
