Our Executive MBA-Europe participants are working professionals from across industry sectors. The current Europe cohort includes commuters from as far away as Kuwait, New York and Mexico City. They share a passion for pursuing professional endeavors and personal adventures on a global level.

Our typical EMBA-Europe cohort

Our EMBA-Europe program is in its sixth cohort. Each group of students brings a mix of professions and cultures to the program. Most also bring 10 or more years of work experience, with a few at the management level.

Our current cohort ("Cohort VI")

  • 63% commute from beyond Switzerland for each module

  • Average years of prior work experience*:  14
  • Average years of exposure in management-level*:  8
  • Company-sponsored (full or partial tuition support): 44%
  • Self-sponsored: 56%

A broad spectrum of functional expertise is represented, from private bankers to product managers, from entrepreneurs to a freelance film producer.

* A minimum of eight years of work experience, with three in a managment capacity (people/budgets/projects) is highly recommended for admission consideration.


Our previous cohort ("Cohort V")

In our December 2008 Executive MBA-Europe graduating class, the average student was 36, with citizens from across the region such as Czech Republic, UK, Turkey, Iceland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, the US and Canada, and including expats living in Austria, Qatar, Denmark, UAE, Germany and the Czech Republic.

With an average work experience of 13 years (and averaging 7.5 in management), they brought a wealth of experience to the classroom. Nearly 30% also held previous graduate-level degrees.
