Thunderbird MS-GM Curriculum

Thunderbird's Master of Science in Global Management requires 45 credit hours.

Core Curriculum

The core curriculum in Thunderbird's MS-GM program gives students the truly global education for which Thunderbird is renowned. The program features coursework in accounting, finance, marketing, management and entrepreneurship and also includes international relations, political economy and area studies - all from a global perspective.

Transfer Credits

Thunderbird will not accept any Vermont Law School credits in transfer. Students are therefore required to complete the entire 45 MS-GM credits at Thunderbird.


Vermont Law School JD Curriculum

Vermont Law School's world-renowned JD program requires 87 credit hours.

Core Curriculum

The core JD curriculum focuses on legal doctrine and analysis, emphasizes the broader social context of the law, and provides education in the skills and values needed for effective law practice. Vermont Law's flexible JD program offers an opportunity both for concentration in a particular area of the law and for a broad preparation suited to general practice in all 50 states.

Transfer Credits

Vermont Law School will accept 14 MS-GM transfer credits from Thunderbird. Students are therefore required to take 73 JD credits at VLS.

VLS will accept any credits earned at Thunderbird in transfer, with the following exceptions:

  • No credits earned prior to matriciulation in the JD program at VLS or another ABA-accredited law school will be be accepted.
  • No credits earned for internships, in language classes or in courses that duplicate offerings at VLS will be accepted.
