This data represents full-time MBA students. Statistics for our Masters programs will be available in late 2009.

  • Thunderbird graduates went to work at over 120 organizations in 23 countries last year.
  • On average, 2/3 of students who start a career search upon entering Thunderbird have a job offer by graduation.
  • Marketing careers top student interests, with 34% of graduates accepting work in that function, followed by finance at 21%.
  • Consistent with the adventurous Thunderbird mindset, many graduates set out to personally explore the world before seeking employment.

Salaries

  • New Thunderbird MBAs made an average base salary of $84,295, with an average signing bonus of $14,258 and other guaranteed compensation in the amount of $15,148.
  • Consistent with their commitment to global citizenship, many Thunderbird MBAs choose to work for non-profit organizations and non-government organizations (NGOs), which traditionally offer lower salaries.

All salaries are reported in U.S. dollars. Thunderbird complies with the MBA Career Services Council Standards for Reporting Statistics, which governs employment rate and salary reporting for MBA Schools.
