The Prueba de Admisión a Estudios de Posgrado (PAEP) is offered by the Tecnológico de Monterrey. You may obtain an application for the test in the Admissions Department at the ITESM campus near you. To take the exam, you must pre-register at least one week in advance. Exam dates vary between campuses.

Entrance Exams

GMAT — Graduate Management Admission Test

The computer-aided GMAT test is available almost every week at specified test centers in your country. You must pre-register for the exam several weeks in advance of the desired test date.

Information on the test, test site location, test date and registration are available at http://www.mba.com/. Once you've taken the exam, your Scores are valid for five years.

PAEP — Prueba de Admisión a Estudios de Posgrado

For native Spanish speakers, the PAEP can take the place of the GMAT.  The computer-aided PAEP test is available almost every week on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 am.  You must register at least seven business days in advance.

TOEFL — Test of English as a Foreign Language

If you are not a native English speaker, and your undergraduate instruction was not in English, you must demonstrate English language proficiency by the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Exams are available at your local Tecnológico de Monterrey campus.

The minimum TOEFL score for consideration is 550 on the paper-based test, or 213 on the computer-based test, and must be from a test taken within the past two years. Moreover, Global MBA applicants' verbal English language skills (speaking and comprehension) may be evaluated via telephone or teleconference examinations before an admissions decision.

You are required to send your TOEFL score to both Thunderbird and Tecnológico de Monterrey.
