Mary Ann Seabrook Bashaw

Professional Bio: 

Mary Ann Bashaw teaches French at Thunderbird.

Bashaw received her B.A. in French with a business minor from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. She graduated from Thunderbird in 1982.

As part of an Air Force family, Bashaw lived and studied in France and Germany.

Bashaw worked with a Swiss electronics firm, EuroDip, Inc., marketing products to a national customer base of distributors and end-users.

In addition to her fluency in French, she also used her proficiency in Spanish to help establish a production-sharing facility - maquiladora - in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico for the Laidlaw Corporation. As Vice President of the consumer division, Bashaw worked with accounts such as Wal-Mart and the U.S. government, as well as with a national network of brokers to market to the mass merchandise, grocery, drug and hardware trades.

Bashaw is also a staff writer and copy editor for Raising Arizona Kids Magazine. She lives in Phoenix with her husband and has two daughters attending Northern Arizona University.
