Professional Bio: 

Keith R. Galbut is an international business lawyer with expertise in negotiating and drafting complex corporate and real estate transactions, including the areas of international expansion, corporate formation and governance documents, contracts, employment agreements, leases, and intellectual property licensing agreements. A substantial portion of Mr. Galbut’s practice is dedicated to international business law, supporting clients as they expand to and from Arizona and the Western U.S.  Mr. Galbut is regularly involved in protecting his clients’ rights in commercial disputes. At Galbut & Galbut, P.C., Mr. Galbut oversees the real estate, corporate, and international practice groups.

Arizona Rooted, Globally Minded. Mr. Galbut cares deeply about the “internationalization” of Metro Phoenix and Arizona. For many years he has been an Adjunct Professor of International Business Law at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Mr. Galbut is also the Chairman of the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations (PCFR), Member of the Board of Directors of Advance Guatemala, a non-profit international organization focusing on children issues in Guatemala, and a Lifetime Member of the Board of Directors of Esperanca, an Arizona based international healthcare and educational non-profit serving individuals and communities in Latin America and Africa.

Mr. Galbut has been honored with the “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell (the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards), the Client Distinction Award byMartindale-Hubbell, one of “Arizona’s Top Lawyers” by AZ Business Magazine, a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, one of the “One of The Valley’s Top Lawyers” by North Phoenix Magazine, a “Top Valley Lawyer” by AVVO, and a “Top Attorney” by Phoenix Magazine. Mr. Galbut is a Phoenix native and received his B.A. in Economics from Emory University in 1997. He earned his Masters in International Management (MIM/MBA) in 2001 from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. In 2003, Mr. Galbut obtained his J.D. with a focus in international and corporate law from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. In addition, Mr. Galbut studied international law and business transactions at the University of Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland, and the Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, England.

Prior to law school, Mr. Galbut was a consultant to the Strategic Finance and Economics Group of a multinational accounting and consulting firm, and served in the Private Sector Business Development Office of the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C.
