Professional Bio: 

Hassan Ajami is currently teaching Arabic language at Thunderbird School of Global Management. He received his B.A. from the American University of Beirut and his M.A. from Columbia University in New York City. He extensively studied modern and ancient philosophy.

Hassan Ajami is a Lebanese author and freelance journalist. He has 16 published books in Arabic, covering different topics in philosophy and literature. He also published many articles in distinct newspapers and cultural periodicals in Lebanon and across the Arab region. Ajami is known to the Arab world as a defender of science, democracy, and secularism. In most of his inquiries, he concentrated on the relationship between Arabic language and the belief system of the Arabs and Muslims. He teaches Arabic in light of his philosophical and linguistic background, and relying on mathematical structures and algorithms.
