Advancing technology, expansion of the global marketplace and increasing competition are increasing the complexity of market entry. The example of an ill-fated product introduction by Ford Motor Company into Thailand sets the stage for an exploration of market-entry strategies.

Participants explore how market research impacts the overall success of strategic market initiatives, both domestically and globally. The hands-on skills of screening analysis and data sourcing are stressed in this Marketing for Global Entry course and receive expert feedback. An in-depth case vignette of Sesame Workshop provides a backdrop for participants to share and analyze market entry experiences in the asychronous discussion center.
