Seeing the Global Leader in You

Take Charge of Your Future

This course begins with a case vignette on Ricardo Semler, CEO of Semlco S.A. in Brazil, as a means to immediately engage the participant, and to provide a foundation for understanding the characteristics of today's successful global lead. A thorough global leadership paradigm is presented and illustrated with detailed examples of leaders from around the globe.

A clear set of global leadership competencies are organized into three clusters, and through this model, participants proceed through a series of personal inventories to identify area of strengths and opportunities for ongoing development. At the conclusion of the Seeing the Global Leader in You course, participants complete an Emerging Global Leader Action Plan to further develop the global leadership competencies necessary for success in the global marketplace.

Program Format

Thunderbird offers independent-study programs featuring some of the same key benefits as our facilitated online programs including 24-hour access, a highly-interactive learning environment and Thunderbird-quality content.

The unique aspects of our self-study online programs include the following:

  • Learning is self-paced
  • Programs are one to three weeks in length
  • Participants spend approximately three hours per week engaged in learning
  • Upon confirmation of registration and payment you will receive access to the course materials for 90 days
