A case vignette of Goodyear in Mexico introduces the challenges that global leaders face in the financial management of a global organization. Participants explore different financial situations and consider the benefits and pitfalls of conducting international business in light of a complicated global environment.

Several universally used financial theories are explained to provide a reference point for understanding how goods and services are traded across borders. Practical application of currency conversion and analysis of financial impacts is emphasized with expert feedback provided. Current issues as well as personal experiences form the basis for asynchronous discussion among participants.
