Roshan is a business woman and community leader. She holds a Bachelor's degree from University of Kabul and owns"Sirran Business Cooperation," empowering women through business.

Roshan works with women handi-crafters to enable them to be economically self-sufficient. She has translated her extensive training experience into helping other women.

In addition, she was a national observer in the Philippine presidential election, as well as the Afghanistan presidential election and is a member of the Afghan Civil Society Organization Network for Peace. She has co-authored a human rights declaration for the people of Afghanistan.
