Two Thunderbird School of Global Management professors will be keynote panelists at Frost & Sullivan’s Growth, Innovation and Leadership Global Congress at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Kishore Dash, Ph.D., associate professor of global studies, and Paul C. Kinsinger, clinical professor of business intelligence and managing consultant of Thunderbird’s Learning Consulting Network, will be part of a keynote panel discussing “Emerging Growth Economies: China, India, Latin America, Middle East and Beyond” at 9 a.m. on Sept. 14.
The panel will examine what factors will drive growth in these emerging economies during the next five years, and some of the key success factors and pitfalls for doing business in each country. The panel also will project which other countries could emerge as high-growth markets and become preferred destinations for multinational companies.
“India is currently in the middle of a huge transformational process,” Dash said. “As the second-fastest growing economy in the world, India offers both opportunities and risks for investors. This panel will discuss some of the investment risks and opportunities, providing insights on how investors can make inroads into challenging business landscapes in different regions of the world.”
The conference will bring together the best and brightest of visionaries, innovators and leaders to inspire and be inspired. This interactive exchange of ideas, innovative strategies and proven best practices empowers CEOs and senior executives with the necessary tools to accelerate the growth of their companies. Frost & Sullivan helps its clients accelerate their growth.
The Thunderbird professors will be joined by James H. Zukin, senior managing director of Houlihan Lokey, and Mario Martinez, general manager of Central and South America at Smith & Nephew. Vinnie Aggarwal, Ph.D., chief economist at Frost & Sullivan and a professor at UC Berkeley, will moderate the panel.
The conference is open to the media. The Hyatt Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch is at 7500 E. Doubletree Ranch Road in Scottsdale. Members of the media are asked to contact Brian Camen at brian.camen@thunderbird.edu or 602 978-7922 if they are planning to cover the keynote panel. Both professors will be available for interviews.
