Thunderbird hosts all day event for prospective students July 11

Thunderbird School of Global Management will host ThunderDay July 11, a day for prospective students to participate in an on-campus experience to learn first-hand about Thunderbird’s offerings.

During the program, participants will attend a mini course and case presentation by Professor Linda Wetzel on development in Peru. Also included are campus tours, a Career Management Center presentation and lunch with faculty and staff. The day ends with one of Thunderbird’s signature regional nights, student-organized cultural evenings featuring food, drink, dance and music from various regions of the world. Prospective students have the option to stay overnight on campus and participate in a farewell breakfast July 12. Guests are welcome at all events.

Thunderbird, which has specialized in global business education for more than 60 years, offers a wide range of degree and nondegree programs for full-time students and working professionals, including a recently launched Evening MBA, which will allow working professionals in Arizona to keep their jobs while attending classes at night. Other programs include the traditional and accelerated MBA, the Executive MBA, the Global MBA On-Demand, the Global MBA for Latin American Managers, the Master of Science in Global Management and the Master of Arts in Global Affairs and Management.

Thunderbird’s Master of Science in Global Management and Master of Arts in Global Affairs and Management degrees are aimed at recent undergraduates and individuals interested in launching new careers in global business and international relations.

Participants are responsible for travel to and from the Thunderbird campus. Housing is provided by Thunderbird at no cost on Saturday night in our Executive Inn. Lunch and dinner are included on Saturday as is breakfast on Sunday morning.

Thunderbird’s campus is located on the southeast corner of 59th Avenue and Greenway Road. To register, please visit www.thunderbird.edu/thunderday. Please e-mail Thunderbird Admissions at admissions@thunderbird.edu if you have any questions.
