The Merle A. Hinrichs International Business Information Centre (IBIC) gives you access to fully automated and state-of-the-art resources that support your research needs. It's where you can access information in books, journals, periodicals, foreign language films and documentaries, newspapers in ten languages, databases and other resources.
More than a traditional library, the IBIC provides resources not only in the building, but also electronically from other sites around the world. So you can use any of the computer workstations throughout the building to access many electronic resources, including over 50 databases. The library is one of the most popular and heavily used facilities on campus. IBIC staff ensure you use it effectively through training and instruction that helps you develop information competency skills.
A few of the resources you may access through the IBIC include:
- THOR, the IBIC's online catalog and your gateway to databases and other resources
- BIS, IBIC's Business Information Service which provides research and information on business and international topics to alumni on a fee basis
- Global Gateway, a Web site with links to over 3000 Web resources on language, international business, international studies and countries of the world
