The Academic and International Services Office is committed to serving foreign students on immigration matters, school policy and personal issues.


Personal Resources for Foreign Students

The following programs and resources are available to all foreign students: 

The International Women's Club (IWC) - spouses and partners of Thunderbird students are invited to join this bi-monthly club which features field trips, guest presentations and activities related to different cultures, customs, music and foods. Special conversational English, workout and book club groups meet weekly throughout the year. Membership is free.

Thunderbird International Friendship Program (TIF) - before arriving at Thunderbird and during the first trimester, new students are matched with continuing student volunteers, TIFriends, who provide advice, support and friendship.

Welcome Partners - foreign students are matched with host partners from the Glendale community who host meals and activities throughout the year. Other events, including picnics and potluck dinners, take place about twice a year.
