Student Interactions

While it's true that the Global MBA for Latin American Managers program is structured around cutting-edge technology, it is by no means just another distance learning program. Student interactions are many and varied.

  • To begin with, you travel to Mexico to meet and interact with all other students and staff (a highly international group of Ph.D.'s with real-world experience) for a one and a half day orientation and subsequent five-day seminar.
  • Over 22 months, you meet with other students every other weekend at selected receiving sites. There you learn together via live satellite broadcasts from Phoenix and Monterrey. Moreover, you discuss, examine and share information under the tutelage of a local class facilitator.
  • You travel together to another part of the world for a one-week international business seminar. Together you explore local business, culture and communication issues.
  • And there is always the opportunity to network with alumni worldwide from Thunderbird and Tecnológico de Monterrey.
