Christopher Lee is Thunderbird's Vice President for Russia. He is the president of the Center for Business Skills Development – Thunderbird Russia. Since 1994, CBSD has brought management training to over 80,000 managers from companies and organizations throughout Russia and the CIS.
Lee joined Thunderbird in 2003 as vice president of finance and accounting. During his time on campus, Lee managed several campus departments, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Campus Facilities, and outsourced services. He relocated from Phoenix to Moscow in 2010 to work with CBSD.
Prior to Thunderbird, Lee was the finance manager at Fossil, Inc., in Dallas, Texas, from 2000 to 2003, where he was responsible for corporate budgeting and forecasting. From 1993 to 2000, he worked for Bank One in Dallas, (now JPMorgan Chase,) where he was a finance manager in the International Bank and Commercial Banking Operations.
Lee earned his MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird’s Executive MBA program in 2008. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Texas Wesleyan University.
Lee is a member of the National Association of College and University Business Officers, Financial Executives International, and EDUCAUSE, and served on the management board of the Glendale/Peoria YMCA. At CBSD, Lee will be the company representative to the American Chamber of Commerce, the Association of European Businesses, and UNICON.
